Since the dawn of mankind, billions of people have walked this planet. Each was created in God’s image. Each was created for a special purpose (Jeremiah 29:11). And each was created uniquely different. This is not by accident. Our God is a Creator. He creates. This is what He does. He is not into mass production. We are not assembly line creatures. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Not mass produced. God “fine tunes” us, so to speak, and makes us better. He makes us into who we were truly meant to be. And once He has done His transformational work on you and me, we will be perfect (Philippians 1:6).
God wants you to be you. And if you give yourself to Him, He will give you back to yourself. And then some. In fact, He will give you the freedom to be who you are truly meant to be. There is a vacuum in God’s heart that only you can fill. And there is a vacuum in God’s heart that only I can fill. He wants you to be you and He wants me to be me.
I delight in the fact that my Hannah is not like everyone else. Would our Heavenly Father feel differently?
Again, if you give yourself to God, He will make a gift of you back to you. He will allow you to truly be yourself. That’s how much He loves you.
